5/10 - Home Meet

The home meet with Pleasant Valley starts tomorrow at 4:30.  I expect that the meet will be over by around 6:30. 

Uniforms have to be handed in at the end of the meet as a team as directed by the Athletic Department.  If you cannot stay, place the uniform in a plastic bag with the athletes name written on the bag so they get credit for returning the uniform.  I am told the process should not take long.  This is a little different than in years past.  I was just informed of the change today after practice was over.

Hopefully, the weather will be nice and our athletes can show off their progress this year to a large home crowd.  Go Rovers!

Pleasant Valley Meet - 5/7

In case of inclement weather for tomorrow's meet, I will post any information as I receive it.

The students are dismissed at 2:30 and the bus leaves EAMS at 2:45.

The bus will return at the end of the meet.  There are 3 teams at this meet so I expect that we will not get home from the meet until around 7:00 p.m.

5/2 - Practice Cancelled Today

Because of rain, the MS Track practice is cancelled today.  We will have practice tomorrow, rain or shine so we can go over the rosters for the meets next week.

Sportswear is here!

I received the sportswear this morning.  We will distribute it on Wednesday at the end of practice.

I would encourage you to place a name somewhere on the items so they can be identified by the athletes.

Pleasant Valley Meet - Saturday

The bus will leave at 8:15 a.m. from the EAMS parking lot at the Gymnasium entrance.
The event is labeled as rain or shine.  We will have a tent for the athletes to sit under if it is raining.

It is always better to pack sweat clothing in case the weather is cold.  Remember that Brodheadsville can be several degrees cooler than Easton.

I don't have an exact return time but I expect it to be between 3 and 4 in the afternoon.

Track Sportswear

I emailed the customer service number that was on my personal order.  The response that I received was that they were holding the order because there was an item on back order.  They said that this item is now in stock so the order would be ship shortly.  This is the latest information on the sportswear.

Pleasant Valley Invitational - Misc Items

We will be leaving the parking lot at the Middle School parking lot at 8:15 a.m. We will leave from the same spot that the bus leaves for all the meets.

We will have a tent for the kids to rest under during the day. The order of events is the same as all of our previous meets.

All the running, throwing and jumping events start at 10:00.

There will be a food stand for the athletes to get something to eat during the day.

I expect the meet to be complete somewhere around 2:30 or 3:00.

We will leave as soon as the awards (and hopefully trophies) are distributed.
